CHRISTIAN HELLEPUTTE
General Manager
Christian Helleputte is the General Manager of Unicargo Mozambique, with country-level responsibility for the company’s operations from its Beira base. He brings more than 25 years of senior logistics, transport, and supply chain leadership experience across Sub-Saharan Africa. His career includes executive and operational leadership roles with UPS, DHL Express and Interloc Freight Services, covering road freight, air freight, fleet management, network design, and cross-border logistics. At Unicargo, Christian leads the commercial, operational, financial, human resources, regulatory and service-performance functions supporting customers along the Beira Corridor. His focus is the safe, reliable, and efficient movement of containerised, bulk, project, out-of-gauge and abnormal cargo between Beira and regional markets. He has extensive experience managing complex transport networks, large operational teams, demanding customer contracts, and full profit-and-loss accountability. Throughout his career, Christian has delivered operational turnarounds, improved service performance and reduced transport and network costs through disciplined planning and performance management. He combines strategic leadership with direct operational oversight of fleet utilisation, fuel efficiency, maintenance, driver performance, regulatory compliance, and cross-border turnaround times. His understanding of Southern African operating conditions enables Unicargo to develop practical logistics solutions for customers moving cargo through Mozambique to Zimbabwe, Malawi and beyond. Christian’s objective is to strengthen Unicargo’s position as a trusted Beira Corridor transport partner through consistent service, operational control, safety, and long-term customer relationships.
FELICIANO FADUCO MACHUMELE
Director of Administration and Finance
As Administrative and Financial Director of Unicargo, Feliciano leads the planning and forecasting activities for the finance department in order to ensure the smooth turnaround of our fleet, enabling us to better serve our clients. He coordinates and oversees the monthly and yearly closing of accounts and balance sheet through daily, weekly and monthly reports. Faduco oversees and manages client invoicing.
He holds a Administrative Management degree and has been certified by the Order of Accountants and Auditors of Mozambique (OCAM) as an accountant.
Feliciano managed Toyota Mozambique´s Tete branch vehicle sales for 20 years, before moving across to manage the Tete branch of Entreposto Commercial of Mozambique for 9 years, where he was in charge of vehicle, tractor, gensets and agricultural machinery sales. He then moved across to Media Mais TV in Maputo, as the Director of Administration and Finance, where he spent 5 years, before joining Unicargo.
LLOYD GREMA FRANCISCO
Operations Manager
Lloyd has 16 years of experience in the Transport & Logistics industry, and has worked in freight logistics, marketing & sales and operations. He has been with Unicargo Transport since 2016 and heads the Operations , team, ensuring the efficient execution of all truck movements from Mozambique, liaising between Unicargo, Operations colleagues and doing sales & marketing ensuring all the clients are satisfied with the service. His primary aim is to deliver exceptional service to all customers.
